The Society of Conservative Architects, founded in 2022, serves as the home of the architectural profession on the centre-right of UK politics.
Its aims and objectives are to:
- Support the Conservative and Unionist Party.
- Support and promote conservative values.
- Encourage and promote high quality design.
- Encourage and promote all of avant-garde design, modern design, and traditional design where appropriate.
- Uphold the principle of beauty in the built environment.
- Consider and promote reforms in architecture, construction and planning.
- Act as a centre for discussion of conservative ideas.
- Encourage and promote political candidates from the architectural profession, both locally and nationally.
- Promote and assist in the publication of news, articles and other literature.
